Frequently asked

The questions every prospective customer sends in. Answered straight.

Can I host a gaming PC or normal desktop PC?
Yes. Standard ATX, mATX or ITX tower PCs are exactly what this service is built for — gaming desktops, custom builds and self-built server PCs all qualify, as long as they meet our power and hardware requirements.
Do you support rack-mounted servers?
Not yet. We currently only accept tower-format PCs (ATX / mATX / ITX). Rack-mount support is on our roadmap as the facility grows, but if you have a 1U or 2U server today, we're not the right fit.
Is 1 Gbps dedicated or shared?
Shared. The 1 Gbps uplink is shared across customers in the facility — not dedicated per client. Dedicated higher-tier ports can be discussed on request for workloads that genuinely need them.
Can I get a dedicated IPv4 address?
Yes. A static IPv4 address is included with every tower. We don't share IPs across customers and we don't rotate them.
Do you provide rDNS?
Yes. Reverse DNS setup is available on request — just send us the hostname you'd like configured.
Can I access the machine physically?
No public physical access. The facility has restricted access for security reasons. For anything that needs hands-on work — reboot, cable check, simple diagnostics — you can request remote hands via ticket.
What happens if my PC freezes?
Open a ticket and request a remote hands power-cycle. We can power-cycle the machine for you — OS-level recovery, reinstall, software fixes and BIOS changes are your responsibility. We strongly recommend configuring your BIOS to auto-start after power loss before shipping.
What hardware is not accepted?
Cryptomining rigs are not accepted under any circumstances. Damaged, unstable or overheating hardware, non-standard form factors, rack-mount servers, and hardware with unusual power profiles are not accepted by default. High-power GPUs, ML training rigs and similar high-compute workloads require manual approval before shipping.
Can I use it for email/SMTP?
Outgoing SMTP/port 25 is restricted by default and may only be enabled after manual review. Abuse, spam or blacklist activity may result in immediate suspension.
What happens if my server is abused or attacked?
Inbound attacks against your IP get scrubbed at the network edge by Voxility — your tower never sees them. For abuse originating from your machine (spam, malware, scanning, illegal activity), we will contact you to resolve the issue; persistent or severe abuse may result in suspension.

Before you ship

A short checklist that prevents 90% of the issues we see on intake. Read it once before boxing up your tower.

  • Tower must be standard ATX / mATX / ITX.
  • Bring your own power cable.
  • Make sure your PC can auto-start after power loss.
  • Enable remote access (SSH / RDP / VNC) before shipping.
  • Install your OS and configure firewall / VPN.
  • Do not ship damaged, unstable or overheating hardware.
  • High-power GPUs or mining rigs require manual approval.
  • SMTP/email sending requires manual approval.
